**Job Title:** Transport Dispatcher / Operator – School Runs (Surrey)
We are looking for an experienced Transport Dispatcher / Operator to manage our private hire taxi business, specialising in Surrey County Council school run contracts.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Plan and allocate daily school transport routes
* Manage drivers and passenger assistants
* Liaise with schools, parents, and council teams
* Handle route changes, delays, and emergencies
* Ensure safeguarding and DBS compliance
* Maintain accurate transport records and schedules
**Requirements:**
* Previous experience in private hire dispatch school transport operations
* Experience with council contracts (Surrey County Council preferred)
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple routes and drivers efficiently
* Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
**Preferred:**
* Experience with SEN transport
* Knowledge of Surrey transport systems / SSTAT
**Location:** Surrey / Office-based
