Two off down to Exeter

Today really put things into perspective for us.

Travelling up the M5 minding our own business when a motorcyclist was involved in a horrendous accident right in front of us. Bits of bike debris were flying everywhere and the rider came off, rolling straight into lane 1… directly in front of our truck.

Luckily, our driver managed to stop just in time and didn’t hit him, but it really makes you think how quickly things can change in a split second.

You see so many people running around illegally with no insurance, defective vehicles and no regard for safety in the car transport industry, but situations like today are a reminder that the last thing you want after being involved in an accident is the added worry that your vehicle wasn’t even fit for the road in the first place.

We count ourselves lucky today, because the outcome could easily have been very different.
