It is with great sadness that the friends and past employees of Z Cars Taxis have to report the sad news that one of the nicest men in the Taxi business Alan Call has passed away. Alan had a long career in the Taxi business and had time for everyone and was just so kind. In the later Z Cars years Alan was one of the Operators here and everyone loved him. Here are a few photos from our archives to remind us of this lovely man.

Yesterday we received the sad news that Paul King has passed away. Paul was a huge part of Z Cars and probably one of the best operators Exeter has ever seen. Paul was a huge part of Z Cars and will be sadly missed by us all. Here he is when he first started operating when he used to come in with his Dad Brian. RIP Paul

Well the office is nearly finished with it's new look. Tom was busy operating on the phones today assisted by Tony. As soon as I walked in Tom made me a coffee from our new kitchen, so he has definitely passed the test. The shop might have a different name on the front which we know is a bit of a shock for some people but the service from it is going to be just the same. We know our regular customers and they will be welcomed just the same with that personal service. Come and say hello and the regular staff will introduce you to some of the new ones.

Well the South Street office refurbishment is coming on well and soon we will be able to reveal what it looks like. Think we are going to have to update the history with all the new cars that are on the way. Here are some we prepared earlier.

Just a subtle idea for the weekend. Remember our office at 15 South Street is still undergoing renovations, so if you find you are outside wondering where we are, just give us a ring and we will be there.

Just a reminder that our office will be shut this week for refurbishment. We are sorry for the inconvenience and look forward to seeing you when it is all finished. We can still pick you up from outside if you give us a ring, although you might be given a paint brush while you wait.
