We managed to squeeze in an outing to South Yorkshire Shows held at Milton Equestrian Centre, for Dorothy and Pig. So incredibly proud of these two—all their hard work is really showing! ❤️

We had to finish a little early to collect the lovely Ruby for her new owner. A bittersweet day, with tears all round as one chapter closed and another began. 🥹

Ruby loaded and travelled impeccably, arriving at her new home safe and sound. Wishing her and her new owner lots of happy adventures together! 🏡🐴

These are certainly challenging times for our industry. With fuel costs continuing to rise, we’re doing our best to keep transport affordable while providing the care and service your horses deserve.

🔥⛽️ £205.9 A LITRE FOR DIESEL… ⛽️ 🔥

Let’s just take a minute to read that again!!!! TWO POUNDS AND FIVE PENCE FOR ONE LITRE OF DIESEL. 😳

And this isn’t even the most expensive! Yet we, along with many other legal, insured and approved transporters, are being told our prices are too expensive…

Every journey we take means diesel, tyres, servicing, insurance, licensing, maintenance, feed, bedding and of course, our time.

We don’t increase our prices because we want to charge more. We have had to increase them because the cost of running a professional horse transport business has increased dramatically 😔

So when you book with a licensed, insured and professional transporter, you’re not just paying for the miles travelled. You’re paying for everything mentioned above plus the experience, running costs but, most importantly, the safe care of your horse from collection to arrival.

This is the reality we’re facing and unfortunately, this has to be reflected in our prices. 🚛🐴

Managed to sneak off last week with a lovely friend for a fantastic ride with Ride Yorkshire! 🐴

I borrowed my daughter’s youngster to get a few more miles under her belt… there are definitely perks to being the mum! 😂
