โ๏ธ๐ฅ๐ IT'S GOING TO BE A HOT ONE ๐๐ฅโ๏ธ
As everyone knows, we seem to have swapped Climates with Spain this week and it's certainly shaping up to be a record breaking week for temperatures.
That said it does affect us slightly:-
1. When heading to the bus stop, don't head out too early. We generally operate our services on time or a couple of minutes late so don't venture out too soon to stand in the heat. Make sure you drink plenty of water before you leave the house to stay hydrated.
2. Buses are by design mobile greenhouses, they are full of windows and temperatures do get high in there. Make sure you leave all of the opening windows open at all times and take plenty of water with you for the journey. Most of our coaches have Air Conditioning so they will not be as bad inside but please be advised the Fylde Villager Network and School. Services do not have Air Conditioning and as such will be hotter than usual.
3. Our drivers have been allowed to "dress down" for the duration of this heat wave, they may not be as smart as they usually are but rest assured they are still as professional as ever (albeit in their civvys) We did however ban the wearing of socks and sliders for safety and style reasons ๐
We will do our best to ensure we operate the best service possible and be as caring to our customers as possible and if there are any changes or issues with services we will try our best to communicate this to you.
Thankyou ๐
