A17 Overhead Bridge repairs between Fulbeck and Leadenham starting 25/7/22

With the A1 Bus Route Sleaford/Lincoln and return avoiding Fulbeck during repairs leave Fulbeck residents without a bus service unless they can get to Caythorpe or Leadenham and catch a bus for onward travel.
I have looked at the possibilities of being of some help in order to relay anyone wishing to get a bus on either side of the bridge.
I am unable to provide the same time table as the A1 bus due to other pre-bookings I already have, I have driven the approx 8ml diversion Leadenham High Street stop (Before the Petrol Stn) turning left at the lights, up to A17 and along Pottergate and through to (Red Lion/Wagon & Horses) and then on to Hare & Hounds Fulbeck, and reverse
If this service will assist anyone I will be pleased to provide what cover I possibly can, in order to cover diesel costs I will need to charge £5 per trip single way each.
As said, I cannot at this moment in time work to a particular time table, but with the A1 service running I believe every half an hour, it is not too long to wait for the next bus.
Not knowing whether this service is wanted or not, I will start with telephone bookings only (Not Texts) to find out any interests and look at availability.

Looks like I have started something of interest regarding eating out, so I will re-post, maybe set up a forum or something where customers can recommend, have a moan, or comment on experiences.
For anyone planning a meal out at any of our local hotels, restaurants in our local areas or further a field then please do not hesitate to give me a call.
I have been asked for recommendations on good eating venues.
We are very fortunate to have so many to choose from depending on the occasion or your taste buds, however I will list those we have frequented and some others that customers have recommended.
In no order of preference they are :-

Petrol tanker drivers have an ADR qualification as well as a HGV licence. They need this for them to drive petrol tanker lorries.
There is a shortage of HGV drivers. That's a true fact.
However HGV drivers can't drive a petrol Tanker lorry without having an ADR qualification.
The UK had ADR drivers last week. Nothing changed much in a week. Maybe some holiday or some sickness but not, I doubt a dramatic change.
The ADR drivers that were driving last week are probably driving this week delivering fuel. So nothing changed much.
The petrol panic we are now experiencing is all down too media hype.
It's not because of brexit because all the EU drivers went back to Europe. Which is some of the reasons being banded about.
These EU HGV driver's, left months ago, and yet the country was still getting fuel without problems up until today.

So what's changed? Nothing !!

Apart from the disgraceful media hype and scaremongering to make news. Too sensationalise the fact that a couple of petrol stations were getting a late delivery so they closed.

The Result of the media scaremongering!!

Massive panic and chaos by everyone. Which is now causing a shortage of fuel until the ADR drivers, that we already had delivering fuel a few days ago, can deliver again.
The media should be fined and penalised, severely for publicising false news and creating the crazy situation that has been going on all today. Disgusting. They should hold their heads in shame.
