One thing we quite often get told from brand new enquiries, not from existing clients, is that compared to local taxi firms our airport prices are expensive.
But we're not, if you drill down into our prices.
So what do you get for your money:
- First HMRC Charge you 20% VAT, just because we work hard.
- Next you are paying for a car that has taken maybe 2 hours to properly hand wash, rather be driven through an automatic car wash for £10.00.
- The driver, that will be driving you, has passed their Institute of Advanced Motorists assessment, meaning they are one of the safest drivers in the UK.
- You will be driven in a car that has ample passenger and luggage space, heated seats, and individual air conditioning, with you being offered Sparkling or Still water in a glass bottle.
- We will advise a collection time for you, based on your flight time, removing the stress of arriving in time for your flight. If traffic becomes an issue on the day of travel we will already have a plan B or C in place, meaning you will notice nothing abnormal, just maybe a different route to normal.
Sounds good so far, apart from one simple thing.
If we are collecting you at 14:00, we will be parked outside by 13:50, if we are collecting you at 02:00, we will be parked outside by 01:50, allowing 10mins to get you and your luggage onboard before the collection time.
