Thank You, One Community!!

We are incredibly proud to announce that "The Big Showdown" has raised £27,685 for the Mayor’s chosen charities, including Alzheimer's Society, Birmingham Children's Hospital and Charity, Brierley Hill Babybank, Friends of Alfie Johnson and many more.

Months of training, preparation and taking a few tough punches were all worth it to be part of such an incredible event — and, most importantly, to raise such a fantastic amount for charity.

I’ve been involved in many charity campaigns over the years, but I’ve never raised this much in a single night. It truly means so much.

This achievement was only possible because of the incredible support from our community. On behalf of Council Leader Cllr Patrick Harley and myself, THANK YOU! ❤️

Huge shout out to Wayne Evans, a former European, British Kickboxing champion, West Midlands ABA Champion.

Wayne and the team have trained me in preparation for the Big Showdown, the team have been fantastic in helping me get into incredible shape.

The gym runs classes from 5pm until 9 pm and also provides personal training throughout the day.

The gym is based at Stumps, 90 Dudley Rd, West Tividale, Oldbury, B69 2HU

We are now 16 days away!!!
