This is a very difficult post for me to write. Very sadly, after 9 years my landlord has decided to double the rent and not renew my lease in November. I have been unable to find a suitable premises that will comfortably fit the cars as well as my sister company Frocks & Frills Wedding Studio. Therefore I have taken the very difficult decision to downsize and sell a couple of the cars.
Margaret-Rose has sold to a British car collector and will shortly be leaving to go back to London where she will undergo some restoration work before being placed in a museum. I felt this was the right move for her as she's such a beautiful and very special car and this will ensure she's kept for prosperity.
Amelia has a new owner lined up and will stay local to Helston. I'm currently in talks with her new owner about being able to still use her for weddings once she has had some work done to get her running properly.
So that leaves Sophie. As you all know she is currently undergoing a restoration and respray. Once that has been completed she will be available to hire for weddings. I will not be taking any bookings for her until all respray work has been completed.
This has not been an easy decision to make but hopefully it's the right decision for the cars. It's getting harder and harder to keep these old classics running so I am happy that they will be going to new owners who will keep them as original as possible.
Thank you to all the brides and grooms who have used my services over the last 9 years and who have given me some beautiful memories, not to mention the grey hairs when the cars have decided they dont want to play! I'll keep this page going for when Sophie is back and available to hire ❤
