Well, here it goes. Deep breaths - 3.2.1
We have made one of the biggest — and scariest — decisions of our lives and within our business.
From the very beginning, we wanted to be different. Not different for the sake of it, but different because we believe families deserve choice, care, and the highest standard of service when it matters most.
This is the biggest commitment we have made to date, and a major milestone for us. We are proud to say we have purchased a stunning Royal Caviar (Burgundy) Bentley hearse and limousine fleet from Wilcox Limousines. We are now one of only two funeral directors in the whole of Ireland able to offer this fleet to families… That’s a statement in itself
We chose this colour deliberately. We wanted to offer something beyond the traditional black — something elegant, dignified, and a little different. It wasn’t an easy decision, and yes, it was a scary one. ( & still is)
Before committing, we spoke to families while carrying out funerals and arrangements and asked for honest opinions. Many people loved the idea of having a choice — something that felt more personal, more of a celebration of life.
That said, we also received feedback that genuinely knocked us.
Comments like: “If you get those colours, you won’t be doing our family’s funerals look at the state of them— we’ll go elsewhere.”
To be truthful, that hit hard.
But this decision isn’t about chasing trends or pleasing everyone. It’s about investing in our company so we can better serve the families who trust us. It’s about giving families options, dignity, and a farewell that truly reflects their loved one.
A funeral isn’t just a goodbye — it’s a moment to honour a life lived.
And we are proud to stand by that.
And finally, on behalf of our family and company thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Without your support, none of this would be possible. We will always be grateful, always stay grounded, and always be working class — because we’re from Divis, some say Grosvenor but that’s an argument for another day🤣😀, and we’ve never forgotten where we came from not like the rest of the funeral directors on this road.
Ps.. Our prices remain the same, clear and transparent Bentleys or not they aren’t any extra.
