🧵🪡 A lovely day out at the Knit & Stitch Show! 🧶✨

Today we’ve taken a lovely group of passengers on one of our very own Day Trips to the fantastic Knit & Stitch Show at Alexandra Palace! 🚌💙

It’s been a wonderful opportunity for our passengers to enjoy a day filled with all things knitting, stitching, sewing and crafting, with plenty of inspiration along the way! 🧵🧶✂️

Today we picked up a lovely group from Greenwich and headed over to St James’s Church in Paddington. 🚌

A little bit of history along the way too — St James’s has a fascinating history dating all the way back to the 1200s, making it a real part of Paddington’s story. The current church has been rebuilt and restored over the years, including after damage during the Blitz.

🚌 Another busy day on the road for the team!

Su and Dave were out with 106 students from Harpenden, heading over to Epping Forest for a great day out. With a group that size, keeping everyone moving smoothly takes a bit of planning — but our drivers were on hand to make sure everything ran like clockwork.

Meanwhile, Liam was over in Papworth with Hitchin College for their weekly outing. 🚍

It’s always great to see our coaches out and about supporting schools and colleges with their regular trips, outings and activities.

A big thank you to Su, Dave and Liam for another brilliant day on the road! 👏

Our last Meet the Fleet Monday is our most important and poignant.

What a busy weekend it’s been! 🚌👏

We’ve had the team out and about all over the place, keeping everyone moving and making sure our customers got where they needed to be.

Friday kicked things off with Liam taking a church group from Hitchin up to the NEC Birmingham.

Saturday was another busy one, with Dave on the road taking Hitchin Town FC over to Leamington FC for their football match ⚽️

Then it was back to Liam, who headed out on one of our own Day Trips to Banbury Canal — a great day out with our passengers! 🛍️

And to round off the weekend, Allan was up early taking our monthly Cardiac Friends group into London for their walk❤️

Four trips, plenty of miles and lots of happy passengers — just the way we like it!

A huge thank you to all our drivers for another fantastic weekend, and of course to everyone who travelled with us. We really do appreciate your continued support.

🇫🇷 We’ve arrived in Paris! 🇫🇷

Gareth, one of our tour drivers, has arrived in Paris with a group from Tring for their 4 day tour around the Paris region.

We hope everyone has a fantastic time, with plenty of sightseeing, good food and some great French adventures along the way! 🥐🗼

They’ve had a busy start to the trip, visiting Chocolaterie de Beussent Lachelle this morning😄🍫

Tomorrow they’re starting the day with a French food market tour.

Enjoy the trip everyone — we’ll be looking forward to hearing all about it when you’re back! 😄

One of our regular tour drivers, Su, is currently in Saint Omer with a school group from Stevenage for a 3 day battlefield tour.

Su is a familiar face on our tours and we’re pleased to have her looking after the group for this trip. She’ll be with them throughout the 3 days as they visit the important battlefield and memorial sites and learn more about the history behind them.

We hope Su and the group have a fantastic trip, plenty of interesting experiences along the way, and of course a safe journey home.

At Richard Taylor Travel, we believe our team is at the heart of everything we do. We’re incredibly grateful for the dedication, hard work and commitment our staff show every day, and we believe that looking after our people should go beyond the workplace.

We’re delighted to have provided a caravan/mobile home for one of our valued members of staff, giving them a place to enjoy, relax🏡❤️

But for us, supporting our team isn’t just about the big things. It’s also about the little things that let our staff know they’re appreciated.

Whether it’s buying the team lunch, treating everyone to an ice cream on a warm day, our regular Cake Fridays 🍰, or simply doing something unexpected to put a smile on someone’s face, we love finding ways to give back to the people who give so much to Richard Taylor Travel.

Being part of the Richard Taylor Travel team means being part of a family. We want our staff to know that their hard work, loyalty and commitment never go unnoticed.
