Something I hear from manufacturers more than anything else isn't "we need cheaper transport." It's "we just need someone reliable."

We run 44-tonne curtainsiders across the UK every day, inbound and outbound, and what I've learned is that the thing that actually keeps people up at night isn't the rate per pallet.

It's not knowing where their load is. It's drivers who don't communicate. It's chasing a haulier at 4pm because a delivery hasn't arrived and a production line is waiting.

That uncertainty has a real cost. And it lands on someone's desk every single time.

Not every load fits neatly into a curtain sider. This one needed planning, care and the right equipment from start to finish.

A large awkward collection moved safely and securely for the team at Lifting Products Ltd just down the road from us here in North Wales.

Something we see all the time in this industry...

A manufacturer switches haulier to save a bit of money. Seems like a no-brainer at the time. Then a few weeks later their production line is sitting waiting on a delivery that's stuck in a yard somewhere because the driver ran out of hours.
The saving disappears pretty fast.
