🌴 We’re taking a little break! 🚢

Just a quick update to let everyone know that we’re enjoying a well-earned holiday. ☀️

Don’t worry though, it’s business as usual for many of our services. Thanks to the support of our fantastic freelance team and James behind the wheel, transport and scheduled services will continue while we’re away.

📅 My diary is with me, so I’m still happy to take bookings. Please bear with me if you don’t receive an immediate reply, as our signal may be a little unreliable at times. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

🚛 Normal service will resume from 2nd August.

The Great Yorkshire Show was today’s destination for the gorgeous veteran, Walter. ❤️

As always, he loaded beautifully, travelled like a true gentleman, and behaved impeccably throughout the day. He looked fantastic in a large, competitive class. While it wasn’t his day to make the top seven, every horse owner knows that results don’t always tell the full story.

For us, Walter is a champion where it matters. Calm, polite, and a pleasure to transport from start to finish. That’s exactly the kind of horse we love having on board.

Well done, Walter and your team. 🐴🚛

Another successful journey today with James behind the wheel, safely delivering Hermits Primrose to her new home. 🐴💚

This delivery was extra special as she joins Hermits Pina Colada, who we had the pleasure of transporting to the same home two years ago.

Not every passenger on the horsebox has four long legs… ❤️
Today we made a trip to Hird & Partners Vet Hospital with little Mabel, who is just two weeks old. She travelled like a little star alongside her mum, Nancy, with the partitions removed so they could stay together. We’re all keeping everything crossed that Mabel makes a speedy recovery and is back home where she belongs very soon. 🤞
Of course, travelling with a tiny foal comes with its own surprises… let’s just say there was a bit of a poonami on board! 😂
So, who better to help wash out the horsebox than my granddaughter? You’ve got to teach them young! 😉 Unfortunately, my brilliant plan backfired rather spectacularly when she decided to turn the hose on me instead! 🚿🤣
Never a dull moment in the world of horse transport! Wishing you a speedy recovery, little Mabel. ❤️

🚛 A warm welcome to James Longbottom! 🐴

We’re delighted to welcome James Longbottom to the driving team at Armitage Animal Assist.

As many of you know, I’ve often had to turn down transport requests because I’ve been busy providing my freelance equine services. By bringing James on board, we’re hoping to offer much better availability and help even more of our wonderful clients.

I’ll still be your main driver whenever I’m available. If I’m tied up but the horsebox is free, James will be on hand to provide the same professional, fully licensed transport service. Of course, if you’d like to request James as your driver, you’re very welcome to do so.

As always, if our horsebox isn’t available, I’ll continue working alongside the fantastic team at HHH Equine Transport, Yorkshire Equi-Move Horse Transport, Hoofing Around - Equine Transport, Denidot Equine Transport, AMB Horse Transport, Horsey dreams horse transport to make sure your transport needs are covered.

An early collection to beat the heat today. Rosie made it home from Hird and Partners Shelf Equine Hospital after her stay. Fingers crossed she continues to heal.

I’ve had a sneaky few days with my family at Disneyland, so obviously got the horsey fix on the carousel! 🎠🐴

After landing home in the early hours this morning, it was straight back to work taking the most genuine Toby out for a spot of showjumping, then on to collect Ralph for Mollie Whitham Dressage to take him to his new living quarters. All horses were impeccably behaved!

Now it’s time to catch up on some sleep before the next adventure! 🚛🐎✨

This little cutie was collected from World Horse Welfare in Norfolk. Once she realised she couldn’t climb out of the window she travelled the whole 4+hours to her new home without any bother. 😍

Wow, what a busy 10 days we’ve just had! 🤩

Esme has certainly clocked up some miles recently, transporting horses to camps, riding holidays, clinics, vet appointments, schooling livery and arena hires.

A few journeys had to be rearranged due to the tremendous heat we experienced last week, as horse welfare will always be our top priority. 🐴☀️

Thankfully, the slightly cooler temperatures have allowed us to get everyone where they needed to be safely and comfortably, and every passenger has travelled brilliantly.

A huge thank you to all my wonderful clients for their understanding and flexibility during the hot weather. It’s been a busy one, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! 🚚💨🐎
