Meant to post this a while ago but erm........events.
Was asked to drop this Norton 961 down to Stu at Motorvated Ltd (Derby) for a little work and a service.
WOW!
Visit lots of dealerships and motorcycle businesses but this guy is next level.
An ex employee of 'New Age' Norton but decided to fly solo when they relocated.
Whether you own a dealership or motorcycle business you could learn a thing or two here. Has customers in europe and a guy in New York trying to get a 961 over to him.
Best to check his page Motorvated Ltd.
Look at the way the bike was literally gift wrapped for me to take back to avoid any fingerprints etc.
On top of his game, knows his product, great service and great prices (too low Stu).
If you have a 961 this a MUST know!

Spent a well earned break from the van seat and spanners to enjoy the sunny south coast with my nearest and dearest.
My wife and I lived in Dorset for a while and frequently attended the Poole bike nights so was definite 'must do'.
Loved it❤️😊

Actually the first Norton I've transported. Lovely modern 961, lots of similarities with the Triumph Thruxton ( transported plenty of those) but slightly burlier. One of those bikes that looks good both parked up and with a rider on. Dropped it with Judd's in Nottingham (another first).

Whilst I have your attention I'll be heading from Huddersfield to Norwich Friday 3rd April empty due to a late cancellation so if you have anything en route let me know.

Brought it up from the Cotswolds. The weather was ideal. Decided to travel back on the A429 through towards Warwick. Lots of bikes out now and the roadside cafes busy with bikers.
Feels like we're in the season now😁
Have a good one

Yikes!😬🫣

Received a call from the owner of this bike a couple of days ago asking who would be best to take the bike to and have the valve clearances checked🤔
That's plummeted down the priority chart!
Was knocked off by a car driver on his way to work first thing. But fair play to the driver he completely owned his mistake and hung around till he could help no more. Actually a sound and decent guy👍
The rider seems to have gotten off quite lightly. Hope he gets better soon. All the best.

Actually the first CZ I've transported.
Funky little kickstart gear lever mechanism I've not seen before.
Both buyer and seller are a couple of shed head/tinkerers which is also my natural habitat. Always a heartwarming experience 🤪😁

Another fortunate recipient of a WilkoMoto Classics bike. Always in superb condition, serviced and test ridden. Happy that it also went to an appreciative buyer too. Super example 👌

Day before I had a ghost rider🤪😆 The collector is welcome to come along and purchase the bike in person. However on this occasion the bike didn't live up to the description and images so we left it. Better to pay a competitive delivery fee than lose big on a money pit.
