The Shambles at Manchester Airport is getting extremely embarrassing, we’d like to apologise to any of our customers that have to wait for us in the arrivals hall whilst we battle our way into the car parks at Terminal 2.

Good morning
I hope you are doing well
The time to renew our concession cards is approaching, however we have concerns that we would like to raise.
We are an executive travel company with 5 of our vehicles dropping off or picking up at the airport several times a day. We offer a premium service to our VIP clients and one feature of this service is to drop our clients on the upper level at T2. When our concession cards were initially purchased, a discount applied in this area but this discount has now been withdrawn leaving us considering the value of the concession cards, given that the majority of our transfers include a drop off on the T2 upper level.
Another aspect of our service is to meet and greet our clients in the arrivals hall and the over height car park was ideally positioned to facilitate this. The new over height car park is far from ideal as it requires a 5 minute walk from the terminal for our executive clients. It is also significantly increasing the traffic congestion by sharing the approach to T2 west multi storey. Could you please advise on the plans for the old over height car park? We would hope that the proposal is to move over height parking back into this area once new tarmac is laid? The other option open to us, for our meet and greet service, is to use the T2 west multi storey car park. However congestion within this car park often means that we are obliged to park on the top floor - a far from perfect scenario when offering an executive service. Another issue is that our Mercedes E class & V class vehicles are unable to park in this multi storey without overhanging the green walkway, creating a potential hazard to pedestrians.
With these concerns in mind, we are seriously debating whether to renew our cards as there appears to be limited benefit. But before we make a decision, is there an option for you to offer a discount for us to use the upper level? Also, could you find an area where we can do pick ups from T2 closer to exit door 2, maybe where SCS Emirates park?

Good morning,
Unfortunatley, there’s no provision for discount on the T2 Upper Drop Off, if your vehicles are under the 2m you can use the T2 Lower Drop Off or the new T2 Overheight if the vehicle is overheight.
Regarding pick ups if your vehicles are under 2m you can use the T2 Express Pick Up, which is in an adequate location for a quick pick up from T2. If you’re staying a bit longer you have the T2 West MSCP to use.
