Bulk haulage and storage specialist based in Norfolk. Roger Warnes Transport Ltd, a long established family owned bulk haulage business.

Established nearly 50 years ago in Great Dunham, Norfolk where our head office and half of our 85 strong fleet remains today. The remainder of the fleet is based in our more recently acquired King's Lynn depot along with our VOSA Approved Authorised Testing Facility (ATF) and Tachograph Calibration Centre. The fleet consists of a mix of articulated tippers, rigid tippers and articulated walking floor vehicles. The majority of these vehicle and all of our storage facilities comply with TASSC standards allowing us to transport crops of grain, oilseeds and pulses. Not all vehicles comply with the standards to allow us to transport such products as household waste or chicken litter.

🥕 ANOTHER BEETROOT PHOTO! 🚛

Last week, our photo had a few people thinking we only move sugar beet… but there’s a whole lot more to our fresh produce haulage!

From onions, peas and carrots to beetroot and so much more, we help get fresh produce from the field to the factory, keeping the harvest moving and the supply chain running.

Whatever the crop, wherever it needs to go, our team is out there getting the job done! 💪🚛

🚜 Beetroot harvest is underway across Cambridgeshire! 🚛

We’re proud to be providing haulage support for the beetroot harvest across Cambridgeshire, moving the crop directly from the field to where it needs to be.

Working alongside the machinery in the fields, is a great example of teamwork between agriculture and haulage and keeping this busy season running smoothly. 🌱

A lovely shot of one of our tankers out on the road! 🚛💙

A big thank you to Junction 8 Photography for capturing and sharing it with us. It’s nice to see one of our trucks with something other than a tipper trailer behind it - this one’s a fertiliser tanker and certainly looks the part!

This driver is no stranger to any side of the operation either, with plenty of experience across our different types of work. It’s great having drivers who can turn their hand to whatever we throw at them! 👌

We’re keeping the wheels turning and are currently busy with our tanker work, getting loads where they need to be across the region.

🌾 Harvest 🌾

It’s certainly been a dry one so far! With the fields drying out nicely, conditions have been ideal for keeping the harvest moving and our tippers have been busy shifting loads from field to destination.

But after weeks of sunshine and very little rain, the ground is definitely ready for a drink! ☀️💧

The forecast is looking a little different next week, with some much-needed rain on the way. Let’s hope it arrives just when it’s needed, although we’re sure the farmers would rather see it once the harvest is safely in! 🤞

A huge thank you to Norfolk Police Commercial Vehicle Unit for visiting our King's Lynn depot this week to support our drivers with the complexities of drivers' hours regulations and vehicle safety checks.

A special thank you to PC Bob Hardingham for taking the time to engage with our team and deliver potentially life-saving advice in such a clear, practical, and easy-to-understand way. Sessions like these are invaluable in helping keep our drivers, and everyone else on the road, safe.

Pictured are PC Bob Hardingham, our driver Brennan, and the newest recruit to The Warnes Academy, 17-year-old Tejay, who is already making a fantastic start to his career.
