Sometimes a house move isn’t just a one-day job 🚛📦

Some moves are a little more complicated and take place over a few days to make sure everything comes together smoothly. Following on from our previous post collecting contents from storage that had been safely stored away for 8 years, these photos show Day 2 and Day 3 of the wider move for a lovely couple settling into their new home in Selby 🏡

From carefully coordinating collections to making sure every item arrived safely where it belonged, we were proud to help bring everything together during this important move.

We love being part of our customers’ new chapters ❤️

This week we helped a lovely couple move belongings out of a Pickfords storage depot in Garforth, where their items had been stored for the last 8 years, all as part of a much bigger move journey.

Today and tomorrow, we’ll be moving the remainder of their belongings from Tadcaster into their beautiful new home in Selby 🏡

It’s moments like these that remind us why we do what we do, helping make stressful moves feel exciting and manageable, every step of the way.

Another successful ‘Man with a Van’ job completed by the D&G Moves team 🚐📦

This time we helped a young couple move a few pieces of furniture into their very first home, collecting from HD3 and dropping off at HD2 🏡✨

From sofas to bedroom furniture, everything was safely loaded, transported, and placed into their first home with care. It’s always great to be part of such an exciting milestone for our customers!

Another lovely job completed this week by the team at D&G Moves 🚛☀️

We helped a lovely lady move from Yeadon, Leeds all the way down to sunny Brighton!

Our team arrived the day before to carefully pack everything up, then returned bright and early the next morning to load up and make the journey south. A smooth and successful mid-week move from start to finish 🙌
