Great CPD day with some of the team today.

We took the time to debrief recent jobs, looking at what went well, what could have been done differently and how we can use those experiences to continually learn and improve.

We also introduced the team to our new Therapeutic Engagement App, a real game changer for accountability, accurate record-keeping and making everyday processes simpler for everyone.

Proud to be building an experienced team that embraces innovation, technology and continuous improvement.

We’re loving our new Safety Pod from Safety Pod International Safety Pods International! 🙌

We’re looking forward to our team CPD session tomorrow, where we’ll be exploring safety pod strategies and, importantly, how we can continue to promote least restrictive practice.

A great opportunity for our team to share learning, reflect on practice and consider how we can support the people we work with in the safest and most person-centred way possible.

Reuniting missing people. Freeing up police time. Putting people first.

Finding someone is only part of the job. Once they are located, getting them safely home can also take valuable police time and resources.

For a young person who may already be vulnerable, distressed or traumatised, being transported in a police vehicle may not always be the most appropriate option.

That’s why I’m proud of the service we provide at UK Patient Care.

Our nationwide repatriation service provides a safe, comfortable and trauma-informed journey home, while reducing the pressure on police teams and allowing officers to focus their time where it’s needed most.

Every person and every situation is different. Our focus is always on safety, dignity and wellbeing.
