Another successful move completed today! 💪

With all hands on deck, we had two vans loaded up this morning on a gloomy autumn day in Lincolnshire. Thankfully, the rain stayed away! 🌥️

After a 2-hour-and-30-minute journey, we were greeted by beautiful sunshine in Derby ☀️ and, even better, easy access to the property, allowing us to get straight on with unloading.

Another happy move, another job done! ✅

Another Great Week at City Van Man Transport! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A fantastic end to the week with more 5-star reviews and house moves completed across Lincoln and beyond! 🏡👏

We kicked off the week with 3 vans and 4 members of the team working together on a move from Newark to Melton Mowbray. We then completed two house moves in the north of Lincoln before finishing the week with a move from Bracebridge to Skellingthorpe.

A huge well done to the team for all their hard work this week! 💪 They’ve certainly earned a well-deserved weekend break before we get straight back into it next week, starting with a move to Nottingham on Monday. 🚛

✅ All 3 vans loaded by 11:30am
✅ Arrived in Melton Mowbray by 12:15pm

🚚 Another hectic week comes to an end, with moves completed nationwide! 🚚

We kicked off the week by loading 2 vans in Tattershall, before heading off on a 127-mile journey to Chester. Unfortunately, one of our vans suffered a flat tyre on the M62, causing a delay — but the team pushed through and we still got the job completed! 💪

Thursday saw us completing a large move within Boston, followed by a move in Lincoln on Friday, which we had wrapped up by 2pm. Another busy week successfully completed! ✅

Now it’s onwards to next week, with a big move to Melton Mowbray on Monday. 📦🚚

🚚 **Busy few days for the City Van Man team!** 📦

We’ve made a start on our next big move today, loading 1 of 2 vans ready for our client moving from Tattershall to Liverpool tomorrow! 🙌

We’ve loaded all the non-essential items today, which means we’ve got a great head start. We’ll be back first thing tomorrow morning to load the beds, TVs, sofa and a few more pieces of furniture, then it’s time for the 3-hour drive to Liverpool! 🚚💨

Yesterday was just as busy, with one of our vans out on our half-day rate in Lincoln, while the team were also out and about carrying out quote visits across Lincolnshire.

We love meeting our potential customers before their move, finding out exactly what they need and talking through how we can help make moving day as stress-free as possible. 🏠❤️

House Removals Driver/Porter – Join CVM Transport

Location: Lincoln

Salary: 14.00 per hour

Job Type: Part Time Adhoc leading to full time for the right candidate.

CVM Transport is a trusted and fast-growing removals company based in North Hykeham, Lincoln, is looking for a House Removals Driver/porter to join our friendly, hardworking team. Whether you’re an experienced removals porter or looking to grow your skills in a hands-on role, we’d love to hear from you!

About the Role:As a Removals Porter/Driver, you’ll play a key role in helping our customers move home safely and efficiently. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Driving removal vans to and from client properties across Lincoln and the UK
Carefully loading and unloading furniture and household items
Ensuring all belongings are handled with care and properly secured
Assisting with packing and wrapping items when needed
Providing excellent customer service throughout the move
What We’re Looking For:

A reliable, punctual, and positive attitude
Good communication and teamwork skills
Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
Previous removals, delivery, or van driving experience is a bonus – but not essential
A full UK driving licence with some experience of driving a Luton van to be considered for the role and must be over 25 for insurance purposes.

🚚 **Moves across Lincoln and beyond this week!**

It’s been another busy week for the team, with jobs taking us across Lincolnshire and beyond.

📦 At the start of the week, we completed a straightforward move within Lincoln using our **half-day rate — 2 staff, van and 4 hours**, making the move simple and hassle-free for the customer.

🤝 We’ve also been back in Nottingham, lending a helping hand to Tees Removals as they continue to be extremely busy across Nottinghamshire. It’s great to support another removals company when they need an extra pair of hands, while also giving us the opportunity to bring some ideas back to CVM Transport and see how they handle their moves.

🚛 Today, we were in Alford, loading a van ready for the first part of a move to Derby on Friday. The second part of the move will take place in October for the client, so another job successfully planned and managed across multiple stages.

Yesterday, we headed over to Nottingham to lend a helping hand to another professional removals company who were short of a driver. It was a great opportunity to support another removal business, while also seeing how another professional removal company approaches their moves and picking up ideas that could potentially be brought into CVM Transport.

Today finished with a straightforward office move in Nottingham, helping a local business relocate from one side of the city to the other and get settled into their new premises. 🏢📦

Starting the week strong!

Yesterday’s move within Lincoln went really well, especially for a Monday! 💪

Today started just as positively, with a move in Lincoln and two vans fully loaded by 12pm. We then had a bit of a wait in Grantham while the keys were released, with the chain causing a delay — one of those things that’s simply out of everyone’s hands when moving day involves multiple parties!
