Who's going to watch the Solar Eclipse this evening?

Now remember using standard sunglasses to watch it isn't safe and you'll more than likely damage your eyes (so please don't do that), but if you haven't got a pair of special glasses, don't worry because The Royal Observatory in Greenwich is streaming the entire event live on its YouTube channel so you won't miss a second of it!

ps we visited the Royal Observatory at the weekend in Greenwich Park - it's an awesome place, the views over London are amazing, and if you ever get the chance to see it for yourself then you must! We'll certainly be going back when we do another trip to London so watch this space... 😎

Amazing stuff!

Something rather lovely and incredibly special (not to mention very unexpected) happened to some of our London travellers on Saturday during their visit to Westminster Abbey, and we want to shout about it!

Cathy Davis, Mary Bradley, Mags Jones & Nanno Staggs are all members of the Builth Wells Ladies Choir and for a bit of a giggle were checking out the Abbey as a potential concert venue (🤣)! During their guided tour of the Abbey, Mary and co were just about to take a quick snap by the choir stalls when the tour guide asked them why they wanted to pose at that spot. When they explained all about being part of a choir, the guide snuck them into the choral area not open to the public and allowed them to sit and have a photo taken there instead! Not ones to miss a performance opportunity the JJ Travels Choral Quartet treated fellow visitors to a quick blast of the 'Hallelujah' chorus from Handel's Messiah and their voices could be heard throughout the Abbey. How lush is that?

So you found out about it here first folks, the Builth Wells Ladies Choir have now performed at Westminster Abbey and JJ Travels provided the official tour bus 😎
