Since March 2014 JMJ Travel Ltd became the new business name for Menyn’s Private Hire. In November 2013 Maria Jones became the sole owner of Menyn’s after being a joint partner since the business was formed in June 2004. The business was originally formed to provide a service to the local community. After further research we also recognised a requirement by the local authority as well as
by the local tourist trade in the area. Formed as a taxi company with one luxury people carrier in June 2004, by April 2005 we had expanded into the larger market of mini-coaches and coaches. In a relatively short time we had firmly established ourselves for the quality of service provided and we have and continue to grow from strength to strength. We now run a fleet of 17 vehicles ranging from 4 seat cars to our 53 seat coach. During our transition we have been also awarded the Investors in People.
• We are fully licenced with VOSA and the local authority.
• All of our drivers are covered by an enhanced CRB as well as always wearing a recognisable company uniform.
• We provide a private hire pre-bookable service to individuals as well as groups and businesses.
• We undertake contractual work for local authorities, tourist attractions, travel agencies, sporting associations and worldwide corporations.
• Our prices are always competitive and reflect the service that will be provided. We offer competitive rates for schools and universities.
• Our drivers are both male and female and most are bilingual (English/Welsh). We also have a driver qualified in BSL.
• We pride ourselves on our local knowledge of both the area and its history.
• Our vehicles are valeted to an exceptionally high standard daily.
