Dunhill Aviation has welcomed its first rotary-wing arrival into the hangar — an Airbus AS365.

The aircraft is with us briefly ahead of preparation and onward shipment to sunnier climates, delivered and turned around within just 7 days of initial engagement.

It was also a pleasure to host the client on-site, giving them a first-hand look at our facilities and capabilities.

This summer, Dunhill Aviation's hangar has transformed into a vibrant centre of activity. An extensive maintenance project, combined with a surge of clients taking advantage of competitive rates at London Southend Airport, has nearly filled the hangar to capacity! And we're loving it.

Looking Ahead

Here at Dunhill Aviation, there's no signs of slowing down. With a skilled team and an ever-growing reputation for excellence, our MRO facility at Dunhill Aviation is gearing up for the upcoming winter season. We're already experiencing an increase in requests for maintenance and hangar reservations, particularly long term parking over the winter months.

All we can express about yesterday's Networking Day hosted by the London Southend Jet Centre is simply, “Wow!” The Dunhill Aviation team were truly amazed by the enthusiasm from Operators, Brokers, and Aviation Media professionals eager to explore our growing MRO facility at London Southend Airport.

Thanks to Garry Lane from Group1 Auto, we had what can only be described as a “President’s convoy” of luxurious Range Rovers ready to transport attendees to the Dunhill Aviation hangar for an up-close experience through personal tours. A heartfelt thank you to Garry and the team for taking such excellent care of our guests. We would also like to sincerely apologise to Garry for the frequent turnarounds his team had to manage, as high demand meant a car was needed every 10 minutes to transport visitors over! Whilst planning the day, we clearly underestimated the level of interest we would receive.

Additionally, alongside jets parked in our hangar, Wiston Estate showcased their exquisite English sparkling wines. A special thank you to Tori and Tom for offering our guests a delightful variety of tastings whilst they toured Dunhill Aviation.

We sincerely hope that everyone who attended and had the chance to visit our facility found the experience enjoyable. The numerous productive and positive discussions held yesterday truly highlight the capabilities of the Dunhill Aviation team.
