12 years ago today, I cycled from Manor House to Gibson Square.

It was six weeks since my second hip replacement and it was Day 1 and Run number 1 of my Knowledge journey.

Such a great career change and I wish all Knowledge students every success.

The sun shone for Roman and Anna, from LA and we got to see so much, on their Big Sights Taxi Tour.

I’d checked Tower Bridge opening times before the tour and we also had the bonus of this huge vessel being towed backwards down stream through the open bridge.

I loved every second of fulfilling an ambition to talk on the stage of the Royal Geographical Society.

The theme was Geographical Journeys, so I told my story of my Knowledge journey and described my very first Appearance.

I also touched on the Knowledge vs Sat Navs, how we use compass direction and the hippocampus of London Cabbies!

I had such fabulous support from my fabulous friends and family.

The RGS organised it so well, thanks so much.

Well done to my fellow lecturers; you were all inspirational.

Last Christmas Lights Taxi Tour before Christmas.
