We are exceptionally grateful to have had the opportunity to support Starling Homecare and The Odyssey Cinema, St Albans with their wonderful dementia-friendly cinema screenings here in St Albans.

These special screenings are about so much more than watching a film. They provide a welcoming, inclusive, and comfortable environment for people living with dementia, as well as their families, friends, and carers.

Simple adjustments such as softer lighting, a relaxed atmosphere, and the removal of adverts and trailers can make a huge difference, helping everyone feel at ease and able to enjoy a trip to the cinema together. 🎬

At Corker, we're passionate about supporting initiatives that bring people together and make our community a more inclusive place for everyone. It was a pleasure to play a small part in helping make these screenings accessible and enjoyable.

💛 What a Day to Remember 💛
There are some days that remind us why we love being part of this community so much... and our trip to Southend was certainly one of them.
From the moment we set off, there was laughter, conversation, and excitement in the air. The weather couldn't have been kinder to us, and it was wonderful to see everyone enjoying a well-deserved day by the seaside. 🌞🌊
A huge thank you to Holiday Inn Express for hosting us before we set off and providing such a fantastic breakfast to start the day.
And another big thank you to BellaJohns for looking after us at lunchtime with some delicious fish and chips by the sea. 🍟🐟
Most importantly, thank you to all the wonderful residents who joined us. It was an absolute pleasure to spend the day in such great company, hear your stories, share a few laughs, and make some special memories together.
