Out & About Community Transport is looking for a friendly and organised volunteer to provide admin support and help keep their community transport service running smoothly. 🚐

You could help with:
📞 Answering calls and enquiries
📋 Recording journey requests
💻 Updating spreadsheets and databases
🗂️ General office administration
🤝 Supporting passengers and volunteer drivers

✨ Flexible role – training and ongoing support provided.

Your time could help local people stay connected, independent and able to access essential appointments, activities and services. 💙

Are you a person with a disability who holds a Half Fare SmartPass, or could be entitled to one?

The Department for Infrastructure is asking people who are eligible for a Half Fare SmartPass to take part in a short survey to tell us about how they travel.

If you are a Half-Fare SmartPass holder or are eligible for a pass - whether you use public transport regularly, occasionally or not at all - please tell us your views.

It is vital we get the widest range of people contributing so make sure your voice is heard before the survey closes at 5pm on Friday 21 August.

Out & About are sharing information from the Community Transport Association about its Community Transport Connection Research Project.

This project explores how Community Transport can better meet the needs of disabled children and young people across the UK. For this stage of the research, we want to hear from:
*️⃣Parents or carers of disabled children and young people (up to age 25)
*️⃣Young people aged 16–25 with lived experience of disability

If you support or work with people in these groups, please share the survey with them. It asks about travel experiences, barriers, and how services can improve, and the survey closes at 5 pm on 4 September 2026.
