📣 Important Announcement! 🚌✨

We're delighted to announce that TA239 will be making her debut appearance at the Brooklands Summer Gathering on Sunday 28th June!

This will be TA239's longest road trip since entering my ownership, making the occasion even more special. Preparations are well underway, and we're hoping to have the roof repainted into the original London United livery in time for the event, helping to bring her one step closer to her former glory.
If you're attending the gathering, be sure to come and say hello, take a look around, and follow TA239's exciting journey as she embarks on this significant milestone.

Steady progress made today!

The roof dome hole has now been repaired, and attention turned to the offside rear light panel. Unfortunately, the paint reacted, so it had to be sanded right back to the fibreglass. It's now fully prepared and ready for another coat of paint—hopefully with better results this time.

Slowly but surely, we're moving in the right direction!

After sitting parked up for 3 weeks, it was finally time for TA239 to stretch her legs ahead of tomorrow’s roof repaint prep . A quick boost was all she needed before firing into life and, as always, performing faultlessly. 🚌🚍

🔧 Not much to report on today, but a few smaller jobs have been completed. One of these was securing the mirror arm bracket, which had been moving due to a missing bolt.

🪛 The missing fixing has now been replaced, and the bracket is once again solid and secure 💪

🚌 Progress may be steady rather than dramatic, but every job completed helps move the restoration forward and gets us one step closer to seeing the bus back at its best! 😊
