The little 5lw is singing away as we head home. The radiator sits a good 10 inches lower than our other Guys.

This weekend is the last full weekend of the 11 Service. We will be running Saturday and Sunday.

From 1st October we will be going to just a Saturday Service with one Bus.
The weather will dictate which vehicle we use as dark, cold and road salt will be very relevant.

For those wishing to travel, we will be running the RED TIMETABLE from out brochures as of the 1st.

A busy weekend comes to an end for Troopers Lodge. Saturday saw our 11 service running as always with KUF199F and HCD347E, we also had our Vr and Leyland PS2 JOJ231 on weddings. Sunday saw RUF186 on the Tolkien Tour.

Heartbeat Star TWT123 has been in Biggleswade this weekend for the United Counties running day, this gave us a chance to catch up with VR767 WRP767J after a lot of intensive care at Troopers Lodge.
She sounded well and lots of people travelling.

A Guy Bodied Guy.

New Bus alert, EVA is coming to TLMS.

This superb little Guy bodied Guy, yes you read that right.. Enthusiasts will know that Bus body builders were very rarely built by the chassis suppliers. Most went to big body builders such as ECW and Park Royal etc.

So we have a nice selection of unique bodied vehicles.

This SUNDAY 23rd AUGUST from 9:30am - The 5th Annual Cotswold Vintage Bus Rally 🚌

🤗 EVERYONE welcome!
🌭 Special Event Menu served 9:30am until 3pm.

This is a big event run in collaboration with Troopers Lodge Motor Services - all further information can be found via the event link or the Cotswold Vintage Bus Rally page.

A note from the organisers regarding parking & payment: 🅿️

Polite Reminder.
🚍 The first park and ride is timetabled at 09.45.
🅿️Please DO NOT park at Cotswold Barn, parking on site is strictly for those with a valid Blue Badge only. General customers of Cotswold Barn should park in the park & ride car park as marked on the map, you will then receive a free return ride to Cotswold Barn café & gift shop!
➡️ Follow the signs for park and ride. It is Stow-on-the-Wold side of the CB, roughly 3/4 mile.
🥪 Cotswold Barn will be open for food and drink all day, serving a limited menu.
❌ Please do NOT bring picnics or such like on site.
🍦Ice creams are also available!
🐶 Dogs are permitted on the Buses with Driver or Conductors discretion. If the owner says no, please respect the decision. (Cotswold Barn is dog friendly too!)
🚌 Buses are running all day, these journeys are all free. If you would like to make a donation to ongoing restorations it will be most appreciated by the owners. They are all self funding and running these vehicles out of their own pocket.
🚸 Children, pets and such like must be kept under constant observation especially in the loading areas. ❗️The Buses are moving around all day.
🅿️ Parking: Please park responsibily, allow others to be able to leave but make sure you keep it tight.
💰Payment: All payments will be taken at the Cotswold Barn. Do not try to pay on the Bus as the Park and Ride is free. You can also purchase a program at the same time.
