The level crossing barriers just outside Collingham are stuck down - Network Rail have just arrived to fix the issue, but this is likely to lead to delays on the 22B service this morning.

We have been contacted by our ticket machine supplier to say that communication services with our machines, which includes our tracking facility, are currently down - this is a nationwide issue affecting all operators who use Ticketer equipment. They have assured us that services will be up and running again as soon as possible.

UPDATE: The road has reopened, service 38 back on normal route, thank you for your patience this morning.

Good morning, we have an unannounced road closure at Egmanton level crossing this morning (Stone Road End) which will affect our 38 services.

We obviously do not know how long the road will be closed, but until it reopens, service 38 will divert via Skegby & Marnham Road, this means it will NOT be able to stop at the bus stops named Stone Road End Farm, West Junction and Linden Avenue.

Good morning, Thursday 15th October.

Newark Castle level crossing has been repaired overnight, so all services into and out of Newark should be operating as normal today.

We have another closure on Mark Lane in East Markham until 15:30 today meaning that services 37 & 38 will be diverted via Beckland Hill and Farm Lane, bus stops at Tuxford Road, The Hall Close and High Street will NOT be served.

A closure on Sleaford Road in Newark means that our 85 service to Fernwood & The Suthers School is unable to call at the bus stops on Sherwood Avenue, passengers for this stop should use the Winchilsea Avenue bus stop on London Road instead. This closure is expect to be in place until 26th October.

UPDATE: Newark Castle Crossing is definitely closed at the moment, buses are diverting via Lincoln Road and CAN NOT service the bus stops at Trent Bridge and Newark Castle Station.

We are getting reports that a lorry has hit the crossing barriers at Newark Castle Crossing, and the road is reportedly closed - if this is the case, all out services into and out of Newark will travel via Lincoln Road instead - we will keep you updated as best we can!

Please be aware that Mark Lane in East Markham will be closed today & tomorrow (14th & 15th October) for resurfacing between 8:00am and 3:30pm.

During these periods services 37 & 38 will divert via Beckland Hill and Farm Lane, meaning that we will not be able to serve the bus stops at Tuxford Road, The Hall Close and High Street.

In the early hours of this morning, we came to the rescue of a local school, after an out of area operator failed to arrive for their transfer to an airport for a school trip. There was no communication from the company or driver, and the school had no luck contacting anyone. Even though we arrived well after the original planned pickup time, we still got the school party to the airport in time for their flight.

We may not always be the cheapest option for your coach hire, but as members of the Guild of British Coach Operators, we are bound by their code of standards to provide clear lines of communication, including a dedicated on-call number in case of out of hours emergencies. Our booking system also provides the contact details of your driver to the lead passenger via text message, and also a tracking link so you can see where your vehicle is.

It is these things that give our customers confidence to use us for their coach hire requirements.

Unfortunately we have a vehicle issue on our service 22B to Collingham this afternoon. The bus has stopped at Gonerby Moor Services before joining the A1 for safety reasons, and to ensure that all passengers are at a safe location.

A replacement bus has left the depot and should arrive at Gonerby Moor to recue the passengers in around 20 minutes.

High Street in East Markham remains closed this morning, all 37 & 38 services will divert via Beckland Hill/Farm Lane.
