Please share!!!! We’re absolutely chuffed to share that the amazing volunteers from Daft as a Brush will be hopping on board a Lumo train from Newcastle to Edinburgh this Monday! 💛

Keep an eye out for their friendly faces as they travel between Newcastle and Edinburgh, spreading smiles and raising awareness for the charity’s incredible work. They’ll be selling their lovely pin badges - a small purchase that makes a BIG difference! ✨

For those who don’t know, Daft as a Brush provides free transport for cancer patients who need help getting to and from hospital for chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment. Every mile they travel helps ease the stress for patients and families during some of the toughest times of their lives. 🚗💙

Julie Nicholson from Engineering visited us with a HUGE donation of £3,121 💕 They lost a team member we supported and they wanted to raise funds to help others going through their own cancer journey with Daft as a Brush. Thank you all, your support and thoughtfulness are so much appreciated. 🙏

Volunteer heroes Ray and Margaret gave a talk about the charity’s work at Gosforth Central middle school. Together the schoolchildren ran 100 km to and raised £540.46 for Daft as a Brush! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️Thank you everyone and a HUGE well done reaching 100 km!!! 🥰
