With all the rain & flooding did you know that driving through water can seriously damage your engine.

Try to avoid flood water, if you have no choice drive slowly (3-4 mph) through the shallowest point and keep the car moving.

It only takes an egg cup full of water to be sucked into your engine to cause significant damage & you may not be covered with your breakdown & insurance company. Drive safely 🙂

With the weather becoming colder, don't forget to do the following winter checks on your car to ensure safety;

Lights, wipers, Anti freeze,
Essential Fluids Check and top-up (including anti-freeze).
Battery Check to ensure it's in top condition for cold starts.
Tyre Safety Check for tread depth (legal limit is 1.6mm in the UK) and general condition.
Oil Check and adjustment of viscosity if required for colder temperatures.
