Outside another stunning Norwich Landmark. Erpingham gate was built in roughly 1420ad, the second of the large gates to give access to Cathedral close. Norwich Cathedral itself was started being built in 1096 and it has been a place of worship for 900 years. It is the final resting place of Edith Cavell, home to Peregrine Falcons, and for a short time, housed dippy the diplodocus 🦕
