Oswestry Food Festival is here!

🍔🦉 What a fantastic day in Oswestry! Jasiek has been making feathered friends, sampling the amazing atmosphere, and we’re not convinced he came for the owl… we think he was just following the smell of the food! 😄 If you’re in town today, head down to the Oswestry Food & Drink Festival for incredible local food, live entertainment, family fun, and a brilliant community atmosphere. And don’t worry—the owl didn’t steal anyone’s chips… although it’s keeping a close eye on anyone carrying a sausage roll! 🦉🌭😂

🦩 Jasiek’s official review of Ostrich Cafe… 🦩

“I came for a ride on the ostrich… but I think Mummy and Daddy stayed for the coffee!” 😄

If you’ve ever wandered through Oswestry, you’ve probably spotted the famous wooden ostrich outside the wonderful Ostrich Cafe. It turns out it’s not just the coffee that’s irresistible – it’s also the perfect place for little adventurers to perch, giggle, and create memories! ❤️

Jasiek certainly approved… although we’re still trying to convince him the ostrich isn’t coming home with us! 😂

From the warm welcome to the cosy atmosphere, delicious coffee, homemade treats and friendly smiles, this is one of those places that makes you want to slow down and enjoy the moment.

So next time you’re in Oswestry, pop into Ostrich Cafe. Grab a coffee, treat yourself to something tasty, and don’t forget to snap a photo on the famous ostrich.

Who wore it better… Jasiek or the ostrich? 😉🦩

Funny Wednesday story! “Julia, can you go start and defrost the car!? She replied “Sure, what do I do?” A look of puzzlement “It’s not hard, press the clutch in, start the engine and put the heating on full as the car is iced over and will be freezing!” After a couple of minutes, returns happy and successful! 10/15 mins, we walk to the vehicle and the car was still frozen over and looked more iced over on the inside. “Julia, the engine is not running!” After checking inside and what felt like -30! She turned the ignition on and AC on fully cold 😂❄️ Never again!
