Current customers include: BT, Superdry, MIQ Logistics, DHL Sameday, Green Carrier, Hellmann, Edrington Group, Kuehne + Nagel (RH Freight), Gordon Leslie, Circle Express,.. We drive for purpose, not for speeding

Collection & Delivery Point – Partnership Opportunity (G5, G69, G73, G32 Areas)

We are currently seeking independent businesses located in the G5, G69, G73, and G32 postcode areas to operate as a local collection and delivery point.

What We’re Looking For:
• Operating hours ideally between 07:00–08:00 and 17:30–18:00
• A small dedicated area for shelving (provided by us)
• Convenient access, preferably close to motorway junctions

What’s Involved:
• Simple scanning of parts in and out
• Minimal customer interaction
• Straightforward process – full training and demonstration provided

This is a paid monthly opportunity, offering additional income with minimal disruption to your existing business operations.

Someone that will treat them with love & care, someone that enjoys long drives in and around Scotland. Enjoys a long soak in soapy bubbles and a quick blast off at the end of the day.

You’ve got to be able to impress me with your ability to turn up on time looking smart and satisfy my needs 5 days a week so looking for serious commitment not just a quick burel round the corner. I don’t want banged against cars, wall etc. I want you to go through my gears slowly and use my brakes gently at a safe distance.

I’ll provide you with full training on which buttons to press and when, you’ll fill in paperwork daily to record our time together and use my hand held when dropping off. So, it is important you have an eye for detail and are a good communicator.

You would need an area for shelving which will be supplied.

This involves small interaction scanning parts in and out very simple process that can be demonstrated.

We are recruiting for full time permanent LGV drivers (3.5T) to join the team at DMC Transportation.

As a growing business working closely with a variety of notable clients within the transportation industry, we are currently in an exciting period of development and are looking for professional, focused drivers to help us continue delivering excellent service in response to the needs of our customers.

We are looking for open minded individuals to join our team of delivery drivers based at our Paisley depot from where we cover a variety of routes across central and whole of Scotland.

Good working knowledge of our road network is advantageous as is previous experience in a driving role although full on-the-job training is provided, including shadowing of an experienced driver in the first instance.

Key responsibilities:

Assisting with loading of our young fleet of Sprinter vans
Planning and organising a given route on a daily basis
Ensuring timely and safe delivery of each drop, use of scanner and data recording
Ensuring your vehicle is fully prepared for each days work, including fuelling up and cleaning

Job Description

The Logistics Supervisor will operate as part of the site leadership team, working closely with management colleagues to implement a strategic plan for improvement. The Logistics Supervisor will ensure effective planning and routing, drive efficiencies and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Overseeing the day to day running of the function, fleet labour, driver compliance and ensure all maintenance requirements are met.

A key part of the role will be leading, developing and mentoring the team to improve business performance.

Current Fork lift license would be advantageous.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensure all vehicle compliance, carry out monthly checks and facilitate quarterly audit of vehicles.

• Prepare and manage driver rotas to ensure trained cover for absence and appropriate vehicles are available.

• Agree clear objectives for direct reports and monitoring performance through annual appraisal process.

• Ensure all documentation is complete and in line with statutory requirements.

• Address issues and create action plans for improvement.

• Ensure the department meets all H&S requirements and team members are aware of their responsibilities.
