We all know the pressure of getting to McDonald’s on time before they stop serving breakfast, especially when it is something you have been craving! 😬

Well, for one young boy, it was looking unlikely that he was going to get his breakfast when the car he was in broke down along the A47 close to Longthorpe 🙃🚗

Luckily for him, our response officers saved the day and not only did he get his breakfast, but he also got to wear one of our jackets and ride to McDonald’s in a police car! 🚔

We hope you enjoyed your food, and it was lovely to meet you.

Last week, we received a call reporting suspected drug dealing activity in Eastgate.

Neighbourhood officers attended the location and stop-searched two teenage boys. During this, they found:
🌱Cannabis
💵Cash and scales
And one of them even had an extendable baton concealed in his shoe! 😯👟

Both of them were arrested and an investigation is ongoing.

Drug use and dealing is a priority for the local neighbourhood team, and reports such as this are vital to help them tackle the issue.

Information can be reported to us online here👉 https://orlo.uk/SPqmq

When it comes to reporting any concerns, the more detail the better! It is important to try and include:
✔️Descriptions of any individuals or vehicles involved
✔️Specific times of day and locations it is happening

If a crime is in progress, or someone is in immediate danger, then always dial 999☎️

One of our PCSOs swapped four wheels for two as he patrolled the Embankment on his bike earlier this week.

These regular patrols are part of the neighbourhood team’s efforts to tackle anti-social behaviour in the area. One of three priorities they are currently working on.

As well as patrols, they continue to work with local businesses and Peterborough City Council enforcement officers concerning the issue, as well as securing Criminal Behaviour Orders for persistent offenders.

When two strangers pulled up at a house in our county earlier this month and offered to top up the gravel driveway for £35 with some spare they had on their truck, the owner thought it was a kind gesture.

The men explained they had the gravel left over from a previous job and needed to use it up so they could fit a digger on the back and it would otherwise go to waste. The gravel was a good match for the driveway, so the homeowner agreed.

However, once the men began unloading it, they declared it would cost £450 💸 🤨

The homeowner demanded they stop immediately and refused to pay ⚠️
