We're hiring Van Drivers on a fixed-term contract, starting now until December 22, 2024.

📍 Location: AP5 depot at Castlewood Business Park Est, near South Normanton.

📅 Schedule: Monday to Friday, start times between 5am and 8am.

💼 Pay: Guaranteed 48 hours per week at £13.64 per hour.

Responsibilities:
Distribute Covid and flu vaccines to Health Centres and Pharmacies across the Midlands using new temperature-controlled vehicles.

Requirements:
At least 1 year of driving experience.
Valid and clean UK driving licence.
Strong attention to detail.
Organized with the ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills and a flexible approach to working hours.

Alloga UK recently had a virtual visit from Mark Fletcher, MP for Bolsover, to speak with our employees undertaking an apprenticeship to develop their skills, knowledge and career.

Mark spoke to a few of the number of apprentices here at Alloga about their experiences and training. Mark commented “The enthusiasm of these guys blew me away, and feeling supported, putting theory into practice and increased confidence were just some of the benefits we spoke about.”

Mark also praised the way Alloga UK have adapted throughout the pandemic to ensure our staff are able to keep developing stating “They adapted to ensure their apprentices could continue with their learning in Business Admin, Warehouse Management, Healthcare Logistics, throughout the pandemic and the success of those I met today is testament to their hard work.”

Logistics UK’s Van Driver of the Year Awards

A huge congratulations to our Driver Douglas Smith (on the right) after winning both Economical Driving and Pre-use defect checks at the 2021 awards!

During the assessment day, shortlisted Drivers took part in a series of theoretical and practical challenges aimed at testing their driving skills, legislative knowledge and vehicle defect identification. Logistics UK has long celebrated van drivers as the unsung heroes of our economy and with more than four million van drivers currently operating on the UK’s roads, these awards are the perfect opportunity to formally recognise the best in the industry.

Congratulations to double winner Sam Burton from Wayfair who won Van Driver of the Year and Van Excellence Driver of the Year.
