Bowker’s Thorne Distribution Centre is proud to announce it has successfully retained its BRCGS AA accreditation following its 2026 audit, reaffirming its unwavering commitment to the highest standards in food safety, quality and operational excellence.

General Manager of the Thorne DC, Joe Caunce, praised the team for their continued performance:

On Saturday, members of the Bowker Family came together for the annual Arturs Memorial Walk around Derwentwater. 💙

The route, a stunning 10-mile circular loop, offered something for everyone, through ancient woodland and walking the peaceful shores of the lake. With incredible views throughout, it created the perfect setting to slow down & take in the surroundings.

It provided a meaningful opportunity to remember and reflect.
