🚕🔴 SAFETY ISN’T JUST A NEW GOVERNMENT PRIORITY, IT’S ALREADY PART OF WHAT WE DO. 🔴🚕

You may have seen the news about proposed national minimum standards for taxi & private hire vehicle licensing across England.

We welcome stronger standards that help keep passengers safe.

But here at Red-Car Taxis, our drivers are already subject to rigorous licensing and safeguarding requirements through Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council.

That includes:

✅ Enhanced DBS checks
✅ DBS Update Service monitoring
✅ Medical assessments
✅ Council knowledge tests
✅ Approved driving assessments
✅ Ongoing licensing requirements

Because when you get into one of our taxis, we want you to know that safety comes first.

❤️ We’re proud to be a local, licensed taxi company serving Redcar & East Cleveland and proud of the standards our drivers work to every day.

Whatever changes come in nationally, passenger safety will always matter to us.

🌟 DRIVER APPRECIATION POST 🌟

We absolutely love receiving messages like this! ❤️

We recently received this lovely message from a customer about Azad, Car 57, who has been picking her up from work late in the evening.

She told us how comfortable and at ease she feels travelling with Azad, which is especially important when travelling alone. She also praised his friendly and interesting conversation, his kindness in helping her with some cardboard she was taking home, and the fact that he made sure to drop her right at her door so she didn’t have to walk any further. 🥰

Her words really say it all:

“He is a superb driver and a great guy. I just wanted to give him some recognition as he deserves it.”

Azad, we think you deserve a huge THANK YOU! 👏👏

It’s fantastic to hear that you’re not only providing a safe and reliable service, but making customers feel genuinely comfortable, looked after and valued.

This is exactly the kind of feedback that makes us proud to have such great drivers representing Red-Car Taxis. 🚕❤️

Well done, Azad! ⭐

🐾 YES, WE’RE PET FRIENDLY! 🐾

We’ve had a few queries asking whether we allow pets in our taxis… and the answer is YES! 🐶🐱

Most of our cars are happy to welcome your four-legged family members, provided their owner is well behaved! 😂

Just let our office know when you book that you’re travelling with a pet, and we’ll make sure we send a pet-friendly taxi your way.

Because sometimes the dog gets to go out more than you do… and who are we to stand in their way? 🐾😂
