WELCOME BACK LOGANAIR!

Loganair’s popular service between Cornwall and Manchester takes to the skies today (Friday 10 Feb) with the restart of daily flights from Cornwall Airport Newquay.

Loganair initially planned to recommence its Newquay routes in summer 2023 but with increasing demand for the service between Newquay and Manchester, and to meet anticipated demand during the February half-term holiday, the airline brought the route back onto sale in November 2022 for a February take off.

Coupled with the Cornwall-Manchester reconnection are routes from Newquay to Newcastle, Edinburgh, and onward services are available to Aberdeen, the Isle of Man and the Scottish highlands and islands.

We are rekindling a long-standing relationship with Loganair, and look forward to working together in what’s set to be a very busy summer!

The High Court has today dismissed the attempt to overturn the planning permission that allows us to expand.

Our permission lifts the cap on our capacity from 10 million passengers a year to 12 million and allows us to make improvements – including new upgrades to our terminal building, parking facilities, and public transport links.

We regret to confirm that Flybe has been placed into administration. David Pike and Mike Pink from Interpath Advisory have been appointed Joint Administrators.

Regrettably, the Company has ceased trading. All Flybe flights from and to the UK are cancelled and will not be rescheduled.

If you are due to fly with Flybe either today or in the future, please DO NOT TRAVEL TO THE AIRPORT unless you have arranged an alternative flight with another airline. Unfortunately, we are unable to arrange alternative flights for you.

If you have a booking sold by an intermediary (not directly with Flybe) that includes travel on a Flybe flight, please contact the relevant airline or booking agent to confirm if there is any impact to your travel arrangements. They may be able to assist with alternative plans.
