🩷Today we raised money for Breast Cancer Now 🩷

In such a male-dominated environment it’s was great to see the support our workshop lads put in today!

Roughly 1 in 7 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime

However men can get it too: While 99% of cases occur in women, around 400 to 420 men are also diagnosed in the UK annually.

Well what do Breast Cancer Now do?

They support specialised initiatives like the Breast Cancer Now Tissue Bank to advance clinical breakthroughs.

They deliver programs like "Moving Forward" for primary breast cancer recovery, along with monthly peer support groups for secondary breast cancer, men, and younger women.

We are keeping our donation pot open all October in the workshop however if you are wanting to help make a change I have set up a just giving directly to Breast Cancer Now

We’re looking for reliable, professional drivers to become part of our established family-run business, carrying out a variety of driving work including long-distance and some local runs.

✅ Able to represent the company to a high standard
✅ Experienced in HGV driving

🚛 WE’RE HIRING – HGV TECHNICIANS 🔧

Kettlewell Commercials Ltd.

We’re looking for skilled or semi-skilled HGV Technicians to join our friendly, family-run team based at Melmerby, near Ripon (HG4 5EX).

As an authorised DAF dealer with our own busy workshop, you’ll be joining a supportive team working on a varied fleet of commercial vehicles.

What we offer:
✅ £44,000 per annum
✅ Overtime opportunities
✅ Call-out and standby payments
✅ 20 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
✅ Pension scheme

Working pattern:
🕖 Week 1: 7:00am – 4:00pm
🕛 Week 2: 12:00pm – 9:00pm
🔄 Rotating weekly
🛠 Every other Saturday morning
