Gwalia Hire is a trusted name in the vehicle rental industry, known for our commitment to excellent service and high-quality standards. We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Vehicle Cleaner to join our team and help keep our fleet looking its best.
Responsibilities:
Wash, vacuum, and detail vehicles to company standards
Clean both the exterior and interior of cars, vans, or Minibuses
Refill cleaning supplies and maintain the cleanliness of the work area
Report any vehicle damage or maintenance issues
Checking of levels and tyre pressures on a regular basis
Ensure all vehicles are ready for customer use or dispatch
Follow safety procedures and company protocols
Requirements:
Previous experience in vehicle cleaning or detailing is preferred but not required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
Physically fit and able to stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift
Valid driver’s license with less than six penalty points
Schedule:
Working weekdays from 08:00 to 17:00, working in your own area and under your own initiative.

It’s not until something goes wrong do you actually get the full extent of how good a vehicle hire company actually is.

The Kia Picanto pictured broke down in Brideport yesterday afternoon and Kia Recovery and Kia were pretty poor in helping as although we run a fleet of over 100 we had forgotten to renew the breakdown cover on this one last December!

Martin Morgan to the rescue. Delivered a replacement car to the customer before breakfast this morning and collected the broken one!

One happy customer!! Kia now at Gravells Hereford in for repair

You wouldn’t get that from a National Car Rental Business.

We are looking to recruit a full time vehicle cleaner/valeter to keep our daily rental vehicles and sales vehicles cleaned and valeted.

The ideal candidate will have previous valeting/cleaning experience but this is not vital.

The candidate must be well organised and able to use their own initiative and at times be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines!!

You must possess a full driving licence with less than 6 points and be confident driving cars and large vans.

Hours of work are from 8:30 till 17:30 Monday to Friday. Overtime is sometimes available if required. 28 days paid holiday included.
