Afternoon all,
It has come to our attention that a number of private hire vehicles have been using Morpeth street next to Rotherham college as a through route when operating in the town centre.
Morpeth street is separated by a concrete planter, some drivers have taken to driving over the pavement to pass through. This area is heavily pedestrianised and a number of college students walk the pavement.
Can you please pass this down to the drivers and advise them accordingly. We will be doing spot checks on the road to see if any drivers are continuing to use it as a shortcut.
