On Tuesday 19 August, Karen Shuter will be retiring—16 years after founding Exact Logistics with her husband and business partner, Adam Shuter.

Karen says:

It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m deeply proud of what we’ve built together. Adam will continue as Director, and I’m delighted to say the business is in excellent hands with new owner and Group Director Nick Bennett of OnLogistics Ltd. Over the past year, I’ve worked closely with Nick, Stephen Ambroziak, and Jacob Bennett to ensure a smooth transition, sharing my knowledge and experience to support the next chapter of Exact Logistics. They are fully committed to our core values: Communicate, Deliver, Care.

Jacob Bennett will lead new business development and account management for our UK-based customers, ensuring a seamless handover. He’s excited to connect with our clients and continue delivering the high standards they expect.

On a personal note, I’m looking forward to spending more time with family and friends. For those who know me—no, I won’t be watching daytime TV! Instead, I’ve started studying GCSE Physics to fill a long-standing gap in my education, and I’ve taken up open water swimming (though I suspect that won’t last past September!). I’m also planning to volunteer in the community—and yes, there will be travel!

I will truly miss my colleagues, customers, and all the wonderful people I’ve met throughout my career. I’ve been privileged to build lasting relationships with so many of you—thank you for your support. And to the amazing team at ExactLogistics: you’ve made everything possible. The future is yours!
