Penultimate day of the Halls and Gardens tour of Yorkshire and the passengers have gone to explore the beautiful sights in Scampston Hall and Gadens before a visit to Jackson’s Wold Garden a very private and secluded garden in the hills , scorching hot one today so even P50 had found some shade but still looks glorious like the weather 🚌🔥 ☀️

🐾 A Lesson from Larry the Cat

Poor Larry the Cat probably doesn’t know whether he’s coming or going.

In the last ten years, he’s seen seven Prime Ministers come through the doors of Number 10. That’s a turnover rate most businesses would struggle to survive.

Perhaps any would-be Prime Minister could learn something from Larry. Cats are very good at claiming their territory, making it their own and sticking around long enough for everyone to know who’s in charge.

Joking aside, what the country desperately needs is a bit of reliability and consistency. Leadership isn’t just about winning the keys to Number 10; it’s about staying long enough to provide stability, direction and confidence.

For Larry’s sake, if nothing else, it would be nice to see a Prime Minister who makes Downing Street their own territory and gives the nation’s most famous cat the stability he deserves.

The sun is shining brightly, the air conditioning is working overtime on the coaches and in the office, and we’re preparing for another busy week ahead.
