TO ALL OF OUR CUSTOMERS: YOU DO NOT NEED TO PAY THE DROP OFF ZONE CHARGES WHEN FLYING FROM GATWICK, HEATHROW OR STANSTED AIRPORTS. FREE DROP OFF APPLIES IN THE LONG STAY CAR PARKS, GATWICK HAS BUS SHELTERS FOR WAITING, A FREE SHUTTLE BUS TAKES PASSENGERS TO THE TERMINAL EVERY 15 OR 20 MINUTES. FROM 1ST JANUARY 2026 THE GATWICK DROP OFF CHARGE IS £10. CURRENT AIRPORTS AND ALLSORTS FARE SOUTHAMPTON TO GATWICK £130.

But an airport spokesperson says the new £10 charge is needed because costs are increasing.
