Just a little update as I’ve had lots of lovely new followers and enquiries recently! 🩷🚕
I’m still building up my little business and would absolutely LOVE more regular customers, but I’m also learning as I go which journeys are actually viable for me to take on.
When I give a quote, I’m not only taking into account the journey you’re making. I also have to factor in where I’m travelling from to reach you, the time involved and any dead mileage before and after your booking.
Because of this, there will unfortunately be some shorter journeys that simply aren’t financially viable for me to come out specifically to do. As much as I’d love to accept every enquiry, it doesn’t make sense for me to take on a booking where the travelling to and from the job outweighs the actual journey itself.
I completely understand that Uber can sometimes be much easier and cheaper, particularly for a short local journey when there’s already a driver nearby. I will never be offended if my quote doesn’t work for you or you choose a cheaper alternative!
With me, you’re pre-booking me specifically to travel to you and be there at an agreed time, so my pricing won’t always be able to compete with an Uber that’s already around the corner.
I’m always completely transparent with my prices and I’ll always be honest if I don’t think a journey is practical for me to take on.
