Welcome to Stafford Taxi Association page.
Stafford Taxi Association (STA) is an organisation, which represents the taxi professionals within the Borough of Stafford. STA is a unique organisation, which works with the local licensing department for the better transporting passengers in a safer manner. STA was created by Mr. Colin Jones in 2012 to assist the individual drivers and local licensing department to dialogue any issues which affect the taxi trade.
Over the years many people represented the so called “Taxi Association”, but it never had a long standing representative to put forward the views of the taxi drivers to the local council. Our members have many concerning issues over the years and we continuously work with Stafford Borough Council to voice our concerns.
Stafford Taxi Association works hard on your behalf and puts forward ideas and issues, which affect the taxi trade. We work on the basic principles, which benefit the whole taxi trade and not self-interest.
Stafford Taxi Association is not a “Taxi Company”, we are an association which represents the dual badge holders for the taxi trade.
Aim and Objective of the Stafford Taxi Association:
To give taxi trade a voice with the Borough of Stafford.
To give our members an opportunity to voice any concern.
To solve our daily issues which we face every day.
To discuss and dialogue with local authority.
To have influence on new rules and regulations.
To create better environment for the taxi trade.
