It was a real pleasure to attend the Stockport Car Scheme's Annual Garden Party. With the sun shining, it was a lovely opportunity to celebrate and thank the amazing people who make this vital service possible.

Every day, the scheme helps people across our community by providing transport for vulnerable, disabled, elderly and isolated residents, helping them get to medical appointments, social activities and other essential destinations.

A huge thank you to the fantastic volunteer drivers who give so generously of their time, and to the dedicated team behind the scenes who coordinate journeys, support volunteers and keep everything running so smoothly. Your hard work and kindness make an enormous difference to so many people's lives.

It was wonderful to meet so many of you and to recognise the incredible contribution you make to our community.
