One of our recent customers left us a lovely Google review, saying one of the things that attracted them to Movers was that we’re local and employee-owned.

They said it was important because it meant the people doing the job had “a stake in the business and the urge to do a good job.”

And after their move, they had some lovely things to say about our team:

That really means a lot to us!

We’re proud that our Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) is something our customers notice and value. ⭐

Movers Transport has been employee-owned since 2023, giving our team a real stake in the success of the business, a voice in how we do things and a share in the rewards when the company performs well.

Meet the Team Continued 👋

Meet Toby - our Warehouse Manager, resident class clown, and all-round Movers legend! 😂📦

With 25+ years at Movers, Toby has pretty much done it all. Starting out as a removals porter, he moved into driving, then the warehouse, before eventually becoming the man who keeps it all ticking over.

His knowledge of the business is second to none, and there isn’t much Toby doesn’t know about getting things where they need to be! Whether he’s keeping the warehouse organised, helping the team, supporting our distribution work or jumping in on surveys, Toby is always there when he’s needed.

But the best thing about Toby isn’t just his experience - it’s the fact that he’s always willing to lend a hand, have a laugh and look after the people around him💙

When asked what he enjoys most about working at Movers, his answer was simple:

“The people.”

Next up, we're introducing our Operations Director, Emily.

Emily joined Movers in 2019 while studying Psychology at university, initially working part-time alongside her degree. Since then, she's progressed from Office Manager to Director, playing a key role in the continued growth of the business.

Today, Emily oversees the day-to-day running of Movers alongside Charlie, leading areas including health and safety, HR, compliance, fleet management, customer service, and client relationships. Her people-focused approach and practical mindset help ensure both our team and customers receive the support they need every day.

Outside of work, Emily is a busy mum to two boys and is often found out on bike rides with them or keeping active at the gym.

As we continue introducing the people behind Movers Transport, we're proud to recognise the dedication and hard work that goes into delivering the service our customers know and trust.

First up is our Managing Director, Charlie.

With over 26 years at Movers, Charlie has worked his way through the business from removals porter to Managing Director. His hands-on experience, dedication, and leadership continue to drive Movers forward while keeping our customers and team at the heart of everything we do.

What was originally an old cheese vat had been stored away at our depot for one of our interior designer clients for over a year, and we always wondered what the plan was for it.

Now we finally get to see the vision come to life.

Our team has recently completed the installation in this stunning Leamington Spa home, transforming the reclaimed cheese vat into a statement planter.

A brilliant example of great design, and giving old materials a new life. Not what we imagined, but we think it looks great!
