Staff appreciation post…

I work in the discharge suite as a staff nurse and wanted to take a moment to express my sincere thanks to Lisa and Neil for the outstanding support they provided today (13.03.26).

The site was under significant pressure with discharges, and both Lisa and Neil really went the extra mile. They worked incredibly hard to get as many patients onto the ambulance as possible while still ensuring everything was done safely. Their efforts made a real difference in helping maintain patient flow out of the discharge suite during a very busy period.

This is something we regularly see when Lisa and Neil work together. They are always helpful, friendly, and hardworking, and they consistently support the team when the pressure is on.

Please could this feedback be passed on to them as their efforts today were truly appreciated.

Applicants will be required to work a 2-on / 4-off shift system covering Monday to Sunday; this includes night work.

Experience of phone based customer service is preferred (ideally 12 months minimum).

We have received some great feedback from two AMHPs over the weekend for our MH crews - praise to Vince, Marc, Karen, Janice, Jeff & Lynn

The feedback given:

1. We arrive at the time we say we're going to arrive.

2. Our crews get the job done with minimum fuss, empathy, kindness and work well together with the service user and health care professionals.

3. Phone controllers - are approachable, professional and work within the timeframes and needs of the client

4. They call us because they know we can do the job if it's a difficult service user.

We have received some amazing feedback - well done to Jo & Mark 🙌🏻

I just wanted to express my gratitude and thanks to Jo and Mark today. They were remarkable in their approach to a patient who had been transferred from a ward to a care Home. The patient unfortunately took unwell when back at the care home. They contacted myself in the discharge suite , remaining professional and calm . I had been informed from staff at the care home the ambulance would not arrived for up to 2 hours. The manager was clearly concerned.

I asked the crew if he felt comfortable transporting the patient back to A & E which they agreed to. A & E were made aware the patient was enroute and he was transported back to A & E by your crew.

Mark and Jo are an asset to your team , I am very greatful to work alongside them as I know are patients are at the forefront of everything they do. Again I wanted to express my thanks to them both today.

As the year draws to a close we take time to reflect on all that 2025 has brought to us.

All of our new recruits, our retirees, our weekly shout-outs, our customers and suppliers; thank you all for playing a part in chapter 2025.
