Hi to all.
I haven't posted in a while, but I thought I'd do one now about an instance of hate comments I received from a recent group I joined naturally to promote my business. One of the warm and cuddly friendly groups based in Royal Wootton Bassett. I Posted an add, and I always include my little logo, which by the way I've had for a few years, I'll include an image so you'll understand where this is going. Needless to say I started getting some hate comments about the letter "Z" in my logo. At first I didn't get it, and asked what the problem was about the letter. So I googled about has the letter become corrupted in some way, and boom, first search result showed the image of a big white "Z" on a Russian tank. And not being a news hound, I hadn't seen this yet. Naturally I tried to explain to the group that I'd had my logo for some considerable time, long before the conflict between Ukraine and Russia had started. But the architects of hate wouldn't have any of it, and so continued with there barrage of hate. I apologised that my logo had caused so much upset and promptly left the group. You don't really understand what it feels like to receive these sorts of comments until your unfortunate enough to experience them. And how some of the eventual outcomes for some victims can lead to terrible and devastating conclusions. Luckily for me I'm to much of a coward to take it that far. But I actually feel sorry for the type of person who's greatest desire is to wilfully and wantonly seek to cause and generate hatred for some one who hasn't intentionally gone out to upset any one. I will leave it up to you how you want to respond to my post. But recently I've seen on the latest news footage, that Russian vehicles are also displaying a large white letter "V". Does that mean that any individual business that has a letter "V" in there trade name or logo should watch out? "V" cars (taxi service) for instance. Anyhow I've found another company that have used a white letter "Z" in some of there promotions. I wonder if they'll receive any complaints? I'll include a snapshot I grabbed from the webpage that had that promo logo.
